NINA is a strong supporter of community policing. We schedule regular meetings between police officers, residents and area businesses to discuss neighborhood hotspots and safety concerns. NINA has also brought the Cops-N-Kids program to Asylum Hill. This nationally celebrated program provides donated books to police officers which they give to children while on patrol.
